Right
at the East Summit to Rabbit Ears Pass, along
US 40 east of Steamboat Springs, a good paved road runs a mile north and east
to Dumont Lake Campground. The 22 sites offer tables, fire pits, toilets, water,
and trash receptacles. The road through the campground itself is a good gravel
road, and so is easily accessible on a motorcycle. Camping is $12 per day. Campsite
No. 22 is especially nice.
