21 miles up the Poudre Canyon
you'll find Mountain Park Campground, one of the largest in the canyon with 55
sites. A paved road runs all through the campground, making it a good stop for
folks on bikes. The nightly fee is $15 or $20 for sites with electrical hook-ups.
The sites offer tables and fire pits. The campground is the most highly developed
in the canyon, with an amphitheatre, basketball courts, and a playground. Some
of the sites have multiple tent pads, for a double fee.
Mountain Park has toilets and showers and many of the sites are well shaded. There is also a picnic area and trail. If you just want to stop for lunch, there is a $5 day-use fee.
