Just
a few miles north of Woodland Park, on Colorado
Highway 67, you'll find several motorcycle-accessible campgrounds, including
Painted Rocks Campground. This facility is actually about half a mile off 67 up
a good gravel road. It is sited among a number of interesting and colorful rock
formations from which it draws its name. The nightly fee is $15 and there are
18 sites offering tables and fire pits with water and toilet facilities scattered
throughout the sites. All roads are good gravel. Campground hosts sell firewood.
