Sleeping
Elephant Campground is not well marked but you'll know you're close when you see
the road signs pointing out Sleeping Elephant Mountain. It is in the upper half
of Poudre Canyon on CO 14, on
the north side of the road. The campground has 15 campsites with fire rings and
tables. The fee is $12. Drinking water, dumpsters, and outhouses are available.
Some of the sites have shade. The campground is completely motorcycle-accessible.
