Twin
Peaks Campground, at the east end of Independence
Pass, has 35 campsites with water, toilets, fire rings, and tables. The road
is unpaved but it's right off Colorado Highway 82 and is easily motorcycle-accessible.
The fee is $12 per night, and an extra $5 for a third vehicle.
The town of Twin Lakes is nearby and easily accessible for a few amenities, but there is no grocery store. There are two restaurants.
