Motorcycle Camping on Wolf Creek Pass

This page includes motorcycle-accessible campgrounds along U.S. 160 heading west from South Fork toward Wolf Creek Pass. Highway Springs is just west of South Fork and Park Creek is a bit further west.

Highway Springs Campground

Just a very short distance west of South Fork along U.S. 160, Highway Springs Campground is accessed via rutted but passable gravel.

The 13 campsites offer tables and fire pits. The campground has vault toilets. The one night fee is $16.

One thing to be aware of is how close it is to the highway. You will have noise during the night. You might want to make a point to try to get as far from the road as possible.

Park Creek Campground

Park Creek Campground is about 7 miles west of South Fork along U.S. 160.

The road to and through the campground is rutted but passable gravel. There are 13 campsites with tables and fire rings.

The campground has vault toilets, a dumpster, and water. The fee is $20 per night. It is newly remodeled as of 2018.
